This place knows how to cook up a great burger the right way every time - juicy, perfectly seasoned, and never overcooked. The staff is incredibly friendly and always on it, getting orders out quickly so you can get back to enjoying your meal. Had my order a few minutes after placing it, which was really refreshing given how often you encounter delays at other places. We’ve been coming to JP’s during our honeymoon, and it has truly been one of the highlights of our trip! The food is absolutely delicious, the service is top notch, and the atmosphere is both welcoming and fun. The owners and employees go above and beyond to make you feel at home, and it’s clear they put so much heart into what they do. My wife and I came to Costa Rica for our honeymoon, and JP’s is definitely one of our favorite spots in Playa Flamingo. The food is excellent, and the staff are incredible. Their appetizers are seriously top-notch here, I mean the service is always super friendly, our server made sure we had everything we needed and really made an effort to help us out, the prices are also really reasonable, and the food, let me tell you, it's just really good, and it was a great time, overall, in a really nice atmosphere, near the beach in Playa Flamingo, Costa Rica.

We arrived in the area after a drive from San Jose. JP’s felt like a good quick meal. We both ordered the Western burger with a tropical craft beer. Andreas was a great host & he did an outstanding job. The burger was good, but the BBQ sauce they used was a little too much, but that’s a matter of preference. The craft beer & fries were outstanding. It’s a sports bar and it had a few patrons in it watching American football. Great place with friendly service, good food, and they can find almost any televised sporting event and will put it on for you by request (go Padres!) Do yourself a huge favor and order the cheesecake. It is homemade by the owner's wife and TO DIE FOR. (New York style served with delicious berries of the day on the side). We will be back!
